FABAS’ mission is to empower school personnel with the skills they need to help students develop the academic and social behaviors that may allow them to become valuable contributors in their communities. The science of behavior has determined that the best interventions are those implemented in the natural setting throughout the day. After parents, teachers are the second most important agents of change. They are with the children for many hours of the day and are able to manage many of their powerful reinforcers. Teachers are in a position to impart critical learning for many years of the individual’s life.
FABAS supports schools by providing the most up to date assessment tools and effective teaching strategies for typically developing children as well as for children with disabilities.
